Passivhaus Certificate

 wx=

The Passive House Institute (PHI) is an independent research institute founded in 1996 by Dr. Wolfgang Feist with an ever-expanding interdisciplinary team. PHI played a particularly crucial role in the development of the Passive House concept. Aiming to bring energy efficiency to the highest level, ARBOR has developed its products in two main configurations: wood and wood/aluminum. The installation of these passive windows allows you to reduce energy costs in the long term. A passive house does not have an active heating system and is heated solely using passive energy sources.

FSC

FSC, Forest Stewardship Council, is a global not-for-profit organization that sets the standards for what is a responsibly managed forest, both environmentally and socially. Arbor meets the best practice standards so that when a Arbor product bears the FSC logo, you can be sure it’s been made from responsible sources.

Q-Mark

Q-MARK CERTIFICATION

Q-Mark is obtained through BM TRADA who are one of the UKs leading providers of independent third party certification and are a United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited certification body. Q-Mark is the product certification scheme for building and construction products and is regarded as one of the most rigorous certification processes available. The Q-Mark logo on Arbor products indicates that these products are audited by a third party certification body to ensure quality excellence on an on-going basis, and sets product standards above that of its competitors. This certification is the ultimate endorsement of our product performance.

SBD

Secured by Design

Secured by Design (SBD) is the title for a group of UK police projects focusing on the design and security for quality security products. It supports the principles of ‘designing out crime’ through physical security and processes. Secured by Design member company status is awarded to companies producing security products that pass standards and tests nominated by the police service. The standards and related tests must demonstrate the product effectiveness in preventing or reducing crime, usually by resistance to physical attack. Many Arbor products are nominated “Secured By Design” after rigorous attack tests supported by UK police.
